Thanks 98fm!!

Reading the morning traffic report

As a fan of the shows on Dublin radio station, 98fm, I was thrilled to have been asked to co-host The Morning Crew alongside Aidan Power last Monday! With his usual co-host on hols, the station has been inviting in various well-known Irish people to add a unique twist to morning radio. Model Georgia Salpa, rugby-player Jamie Heaslip, pro snooker-player Ken Doherty, the Irish Apprentice’s Brian Purcell and boxing hero Bernard Dunne, have all sampled the world of radio presenting over the past week. Apart from my alarm shrilly ringing at the terrifying early time of 5.15am, I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. From reading out the latest traffic reports, to chatting about the day’s top news and showbiz stories, and even participating in their daily ‘keepy-uppies’ competition, I was certainly allowed to test my hand at everything. The three hours from 7am – 10am went so fast, I couldn’t believe it! And I was having such fun chatting away to Aidan and the listeners, that I was sorry to be bundled into a taxi off home!

So thank you to 98fm once more for allowing me onto your airwaves…. your good reputation remains intact as I made it safely through the three hours without a single belch or swear-word!
